We are OPEN to NEW REFERRALS as of May 1 2026!


The wait time for routine adult respirology referrals is 2-4 weeks.

For urgent cases, please fax a referral and call or email the office directly.

PRACTICE UPDATES

Dr. Damaraju will be completing parental leave shortly and is expected to return to clinic July 2026. There will also be intermittent locum coverage until at least August.  


We are pleased to OPEN to NEW REFERRALS as of May 1, 2026.

Dr. Damaraju is an experienced FRCPC-certified respirologist and pleased to provide timely, comprehensive, and patient-centred care for all patients >age 16 requiring general respirology consultation. Referrals are accepted from the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley. For patients outside of these areas (eg: Prince George, Interior Health), please refer to a local specialist.

Patients referred for bronchoscopy will have their procedures done at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre.

Dr. Deepti Damaraju, MD FRCPC

ADULT RESPIROLOGIST

Dr. Deepti Damaraju completed medical school and a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto, and then completed a fellowship in Adult Respirology at the University of British Columbia. She has been in practice as a lung specialist since 2014. She is passionate about all aspects of general respirology, and also has clinical interests in airways disease including severe asthma and COPD. She holds hospital privileges at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC), where she conducts procedures such as bronchoscopy, and attends on the inpatient respirology consult service. She is also a Clinical Instructor with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. 

Dr. Damaraju is accepting all adult respirology referrals, and looks forward to inspiring her patients and community towards better health.
