Please note Dr. Damaraju will be taking a temporary leave of absence starting July 25 2025 - July 31 2026 (anticipated date of return, may change).
The office will be open, but with modified services.
NEW PATIENTS:
Starting May 1 2025 we will unfortunately need to CLOSE our waitlist to new referrals.
In the meantime, please consider obtaining advice / care through the following mechanisms:
- Contact the on-call respirologist at your nearest Fraser Health hospital
- Refer to another respirologist, with names and waitlists available on Pathways
- Refer to regional respirology clinics such as those at Jim Pattison Outpatient Centre
- For urgent issues, send the patient to ER
Once the office has reopened to full services, we would be pleased to assist with new patient referrals.
EXISTING PATIENTS:
As of April 2025, existing patients will be notified of these changes.
Patients will be booked with a locum if possible, otherwise on a modified schedule with Dr. Damaraju. Appointments will be virtual by default, with in-person appointments booked if medically required.
Availability unfortunately cannot be guaranteed, and for any appointments that need to be moved / delayed, we would appreciate if the patient could see the family doctor / referring provider first, and then have their provider correspond with us for any pressing issues.
SPIROMETRY REFERRALS:
